Canvas system role training sessions

Staff with system-level access in Canvas are invited to join the following training and refresher sessions.

These sessions are tailored for faculty administrators and those with Reviewer and Monitor roles in Canvas. The workshops will provide an overview of Canvas system roles, focusing on user permissions, course statistics, and content management.

Canvas System Role Training – Faculty Admin

Monday 14 April 2025, 2–2:30pm (online via Zoom)

Join our Faculty Admin Training session for new and refresher administration in Canvas.

The session will cover:

  • Understanding user permissions: Focus on faculty admin roles.
  • Viewing course statistics: Gain insights on enrolment, engagement, and performance.
  • Content management: Manage course pages, calendar events, the gradebook, and rubrics.

Canvas System Role Training – Monitors and Reviewers

Monday 14 April 2025, 2:30–3pm (online via Zoom)

Join our Monitors and Reviewers training session for new and refresher administration in Canvas.

The session will cover:

  • Understanding user permissions: Focus on Reviewer and Monitor roles.
  • Viewing course statistics: Learn to view and interpret course statistics.
  • Content management: Basic overview of managing course content.
