Preview: Waipapa Taumata Rau course (WTRSCI 100) – Faculty of Science

From 2025, the Faculty of Science will offer our first core course for undergraduate students. WTRSCI 100 will provide foundational knowledge about contemporary science in this country. It will also teach our students essential skills that will set them up for success in their programme of study and beyond.

FoS piloted the course in Semester Two, 2024. We now invite all staff to find out what the course is about. Our presenters will touch on learning design, curriculum, essential skills, assessment, the pilot evaluation, and student experience.
