Teaching and Learning for a Sustainable World seminar series
An exciting new online series, combining local presenters with international academics sharing their insights and inspiration around teaching sustainability at a tertiary level.
The new online seminar series is part of a larger research project in partnership with the University of Auckland’s Centre for Climate, Biodiversity and Society, Ngā Ara Whetū, and is funded by University of Auckland | Waipapa Taumata Rau.
The series kicks off with a presentation from University of Auckland sociologist Dr Manuel Vallée on May 3, discussing the all-important issue of student engagement before shifting offshore with speakers from Nigeria, Sweden, Canada and elsewhere.
Seminars will take place monthly via Zoom, and continue for the remainder of the year. A list of confirmed speakers (with more to be added!) can be found below:
