Australasia’s premier higher education research event gathers academic developers, educators, and policymakers to foster collaboration and innovation under the theme “Together We Innovate.”

The HERDSA conference gathers higher education professionals annually to discuss student success and policy. Since 1972, it has fostered academic community-building and development in teaching and learning.

The 2024 event, themed “Together We Innovate,“ will attract a diverse group of educators, leaders, and policymakers to focus on themes such as:

  • Governance and policy
  • Teaching, learning and the student experience
  • Pathways and partnerships
  • Innovation and research
  • Professional learning for changing academic practices
  • Values, justice and integrity.
