Australasia’s premier higher education research event gathers academic developers, educators, and policymakers to foster collaboration and innovation under the theme “Shaping Education: Past, Present, Future.”

The HERDSA conference gathers higher education professionals annually to discuss student success and policy. Since 1972, it has fostered academic community-building and development in teaching and learning.

31 March 2025: Deadline for conference grant applications
20 March 2025, 5:00 PM AEDST: Deadline for Student and Early Career Conference Grant applications
7-10 July 2025: Conference takes place
