Curriculum and Pedagogy Seminar: Jia Li on Feedback-Seeking in L2 Writing

An in-person seminar for teaching staff by a visiting scholar from East China Normal University on what drives feedback-seeking in second language writing.

School of Curriculum and Pedagogy, Faculty of Arts and Education, invites everyone to join them for a thought-provoking seminar by Jia Li, PhD student at East China Normal University and visiting scholar at the University of Auckland.

Jia will present his research on feedback-seeking behaviour (FSB) in second language (L2) writing, exploring how motivation and emotion shape learners’ proactive engagement with feedback. His findings offer fresh insights into learner agency and implications for L2 writing instruction.
