This Canvas site archives teaching related information and faculty contact details for the former Faculty of Arts. A new resource will be available in early 2025.

The Learning and Teaching Community website is a Canvas hub for sharing practices, resources, and experiences, aimed to help teachers maximise student success.

The Teaching and Learning Hub includes a section for Graduate Teaching Assistants, to find information about training sessions and improving teaching proficiency.

This training resource helps Graduate Teaching Assistants get up to speed with what it means to be an effective tutor.

For students

The Essay Skills Hub guides students through the writing process, from understanding the topic and sourcing information, to writing and referencing.

The Postgraduates’ Hub is set up for those in need of more support and interaction outside of the classroom.

Subject Guides assist students and researchers in finding the right sources for the information they need from a list of curated key resources.

Learning Essentials is maintained by Libraries and Learning Services; it helps students develop their study and research skills. Students also have a link to Learning Essentials from their Canvas courses.

Subject specific

The Pacific Research Hub aims to create a Pacific critical thinking and research excellence space for University of Auckland staff and students.

Vaka provides an environment that facilitates the best traction for recruiting and improving success for our Pacific postgraduate students.

The History Research and Writing Skills Hub is a Canvas resource for Law students. It has guides for researching and writing legal cases, along with listing legal databases.

Te History Hub provides resources for new students to History-specific practices of research and assessment, as well as serving as a refresher for experienced students.

Showcase

The Elam Artists website features contemporary work from Te Waka Tūhura | Elam School of Fine Arts students, past and present.
