Gen-AI drop-in sessions at UoA

Feeling a bit tech-timid? Join us at Prompt Parlour, your cosy, no-pressure space to explore Gen-AI.

Over three days during this mid-semester break, Ranga Auaha Ako | Learning and Teaching Design Team invites all the Gen-AI novices who teach to join our relaxed and safe space for exploring and experimenting with generative AI tools.

No pressure, no prior knowledge needed—just bring your curiosity. We’ll bring the expertise, coffee, tea, and the biscuits. Connect with others, ask questions, and play with prompts in a welcoming environment designed for learning and discovery.

No need to register—just drop in and out as suits during one of our in-person or online sessions, facilitated by our helpful learning designers and technologists.

Bring your own device or email us at raa@auckland.ac.nz in advance to have one arranged for you.

And, if you’re keen to get a head start, check out the ‘Intro to Gen-AI’ module in our new Generative AI 101 course before coming.
