Sub-doctoral research: Student assignment submission
This guide describes the procedure for sub-doctoral students to submit their assignment for 30-80 point research component examinations.
Student assignment submission procedure
1
Student notification—how to submit
- The Canvas assignment set-up (as per data provided by administrators in ‘key data collection (step 1)‘) automatically creates a ‘To do‘ item in Canvas, which students click to submit their research [1]:
Note: If desired, administrators may choose to send an email to students prior to submission indicating that the course is on their Canvas Dashboard and will be used for their final research assessment submission.
2
Canvas assignment submission
- The student submits their document to the Canvas course assignment on the specified due date by going to ‘Assignments‘ [1] and then ‘Start Assignment‘ [2]:
- Click the ‘rocket ship image‘ or drag a file onto it to upload [1]. Then tick the ‘Agree to the End-User License Agreement‘ [2] and click ‘Submit Assignment’ [3]:
