Canvas Design Blocks training
Join Ranga Auaha Ako, Learning and teaching Design Team for a hands-on workshop on Design Blocks, tailored for teaching staff and anyone involved with Canvas courses at the University.
Facilitated sessions
During this session, you will learn how to:
- Apply grids to structure material on Canvas pages
- Incorporate headers and images to design attractive home pages and signal the beginning of new modules
- Present an engaging overview of course content through image cards
- Create a “Meet the Team” page with staff profiles easily
- Enhance courses with buttons, button bars, and a course glossary (time permitting)

We are also offering informal drop-ins. These opportunities are an open Q&A designed to provide targeted advice.
