Reminder: FHMS Teaching Research Grants
Applications are now open for the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (FMHS) Teaching Research Grants.
Submissions are now being accepted from FMHS staff for the EW Sharman Staff Award for Curriculum Development and the Daniel and Olga Archibald Medical Education Research Fund.
The closing date for submissions for both grants is Friday 12 December 2025.
Proposals are submitted via the Online Research Module (InfoEd). When submitting your application, specify the relevant sponsor/scheme listed for which you are applying. Visit FMHS Educational Research Funding for application guidelines.

EW Sharman Staff Award for Curriculum Development
The fund was established in 2003 to assist teaching staff of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences to undertake research into curriculum development.
The value of the award is up to $10,000
Daniel and Olga Archibald Medical Education Research Fund
Based on a generous gift from the Archibald Family, this fund supports a Faculty member or graduate research student carrying out research related to undergraduate or postgraduate medical education. The grants may be used to fund specific costs related to a project or to help cover the travel costs associated with presenting research findings at a recognised international medical education meeting.
The value of the award is up to $2,500
